Coinciding with the Tenth of Ramadan Celebrations, the Suez Canal Museum started welcoming visitors on Wednesday morning, and that is during the soft opening over the upcoming period.
The museum opens its doors to visitors free of charge daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the soft opening period.
During their tour of the museum, visitors received a detailed explanation from the museum's officials and guides of the building's history, collectibles, items on display, and artefacts exhibited in the museum's twelve halls.
The museum's visitors also learned about the history of the Suez Canal through different display tools, and were impressed by the museum exhibition style of the different artefacts and the organization of the museum halls. They also expressed their pride and appreciation of the Suez Canal Museum standing as a cultural beacon that narrates the history of the Suez Canal throughout the ages.
